One winner will be chosen as the Home Grown Hero by our team of Canadian suppliers based on the authenticity, heart, and impact of their story.

OEB Home Grown Contest – Official Terms & Conditions
Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, and Yukon who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.
Employees, franchisees, contractors, and representatives of OEB Breakfast Co. (“OEB”), its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members or persons living in the same household of such individuals are not eligible to participate.
No purchase is necessary. Void where prohibited by law.
Contest Period
The Contest runs from April 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. MT to May 19, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. MT (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be received within the Contest Period to be eligible.
How to Enter
Participants may enter the Contest by completing the official entry form available at EatOEB.com/contest during the Contest Period.
Participants may also enter the Home Grown Hero Showcase by submitting a video through the contest website or via OEB’s designated social media channels.
Limit one (1) entry per person per day. Additional entries may be awarded for valid Home Grown Hero submissions.
No purchase necessary.
Prize Conditions
Weekly Prizes
Six (6) weekly prize winners will be selected during the Contest Period. Weekly prizes include:
OEB Gift Basket
Approximate retail value: $250. Contents may vary by location and availability. Prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash value. No substitutions except at OEB’s sole discretion. OEB is not responsible for lost or damaged items once the prize is claimed.
Brunch for Four at OEB Breakfast Co.
Approximate retail value: $250. Valid for dine‑in only at participating OEB locations. Gratuity not included. Must be redeemed in a single visit. No cash value. Non‑transferable. Reservations recommended; subject to availability.
OEB Coffee for a Year
Winner will receive one (1) 1 lb bag of OEB coffee per month for twelve (12) consecutive months. Approximate retail value: $250. Pickup required at the winner’s selected OEB location. Missed monthly pickups will not be reissued. No cash value. No substitutions except at OEB’s discretion.
OEB Bacon for a Year
Winner will receive one (1) 1 kg portion of OEB bacon per month for twelve (12) consecutive months. Approximate retail value: $250. Pickup required at the winner’s selected OEB location. Missed monthly pickups will not be reissued. No cash value. No substitutions except at OEB’s discretion.
OEB Eggs for a Year
Winner will receive one (1) 30‑egg flat per month for twelve (12) consecutive months. Approximate retail value: $250. Pickup required at the winner’s selected OEB location. Missed monthly pickups will not be reissued. No cash value. No substitutions except at OEB’s discretion.
Winner Selection
Weekly prize winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during each weekly period.
Selected entrants will be contacted by email or phone within five (5) business days of the draw. To be declared a winner, entrants must:
- Respond within five (5) business days
- Correctly answer a time‑limited, skill‑testing question
- Sign and return a declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release
Failure to comply may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate entrant.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
If, due to an error relating to the entry process, drawing, or any other aspect of the Contest, more selected entrants are identified than contemplated in these Contest Rules, a random draw will be conducted among all eligible claimants to award the correct number of prizes.
Release and Limitation of Liability
Winners (and, if applicable, their guests) may be required to execute a legal agreement and release confirming:
- Eligibility and compliance with these Contest Rules
- Acceptance of the prize as awarded
- Release of OEB and its affiliates, employees, directors, officers, agents, and promotional partners (the “Releasees”) from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or use of the prize
- Granting OEB the unrestricted right to use the winner’s name, image, likeness, voice, and submitted content for promotional purposes in any media
The executed release must be returned within two (2) business days of notification or the entrant may be disqualified.
OEB is not responsible for lost, damaged, delayed, or misdirected prizes.
General Conditions
OEB reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest in whole or in part if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest.
Privacy
Personal information collected during the Contest will be used solely for Contest administration and in accordance with OEB’s privacy policy.
Governing Law
The Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and applicable federal laws of Canada.
