Honeybee Centre

WHO THEY ARE: What started as a dream to do something in an effort to save the world, the Honeybee Centre in Surrey, British Columbia has grown to become a renowned honey farm, educational facility and much more.

Greater Vancouver Area
Greater Vancouver Food Bank

WHO THEY ARE: The Greater Vancouver Food Bank was set up as a temporary relief to the hunger crisis in 1983 and has grown significantly in the four decades since then. Today, the GVFB provides assistance to approximately 16,000 individuals monthly across Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, and the North Shore.

WHO THEY ARE: The Canadian Mental Health Association is a collective of organizations bound together by a brand and mission. Together, they identify and respond to Canada’s most pressing mental health priorities and push for nationwide system and policy change. At the community level, millions of people rely on CMHA’s extensive grassroots presence.

WHO THEY ARE: Located in Beaver County, Alberta, Beaver Creek owners and keepers, Stefan and Monique, focus on sustainable, local honey production where their bees forage off the local flora and help to pollinate many acres of crops, wildflowers and fruit-bearing trees and shrubs.

WHO THEY ARE: Kids Up Front Calgary provides experiences to deserving children and youth in the Calgary area. We believe all kids should have access to enriching experiences like arts, culture, and sporting events. Attendance at events like these helps to foster feelings of inclusion and belonging in the children we help.

Little Warriors

WHO THEY ARE: Little Warriors is a national charitable organization focused on the awareness, prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. They also advocate on behalf of and with child sexual abuse survivors.
