Previously At OEB

A restaurant. A team. An unreasonable number of opinions about eggs.

From culinary existentialism to workplace drama that could have been an email, Previously at OEB brings you the stories, personalities, and questionable decisions behind your favourite brunch establishment.

Based on true events. Mostly.

Episode 1 | The Egg

New line cook Jess quickly discovers that at OEB, eggs aren’t just an ingredient — they’re a way of life. Between colour cards, egg nightmares and the daily tuck-in, she learns that there’s one rule everyone takes very seriously: Respect the peck.

Welcome to OEB. Things get weird in the kitchen.

Episode 2 | THANKSGIVING

This Thanksgiving, Tatum wants to measure success the OEB way: by how many souls they can fill. Forget sales targets and guest counts — it’s all about incredible food, genuine hospitality and meaningful connections. Chef Dan, however, has a slightly different interpretation of “Fill the Soul”… and things get weird.

Episode 3 | THE COFFEE

A longtime OEB regular refuses to drink restaurant coffee — until one sip of Soma Brasa changes everything. Now, his newfound obsession has him showing up for refills, running the coffee machine into the ground and testing the limits of Lynn’s patience. Turns out, some addictions come in a red mug.

Episode 4 | THE PLATE

Chef Dan is convinced the right plate can make a dish unforgettable. The problem? Not everyone can see what he sees. As Jess questions her culinary training and a series of candidates fail to understand the assignment, Dan’s search for the perfect plate takes an unexpected turn. At OEB, the most important ingredient might just be the one you serve it on.

Episode 5 | THE BEEF TALLOW

Chef Dan is convinced the right plate can make a dish unforgettable. The problem? Not everyone can see what he sees. As Jess questions her culinary training and a series of candidates fail to understand the assignment, Dan’s search for the perfect plate takes an unexpected turn. At OEB, the most important ingredient might just be the one you serve it on.
